Research summary
Kisspeptin-10 has been used in published animal and human physiology studies to probe gonadotropin release and reproductive endocrinology. This summary describes what the literature has investigated. It is not a claim about the effects of our product, which is supplied for laboratory research only.
Mechanism of action
Kisspeptin-10 is the 10-amino-acid C-terminal fragment of kisspeptin, the endogenous ligand of the KISS1 receptor (GPR54). Kisspeptin signalling acts on hypothalamic GnRH neurons and is a central regulator of the reproductive hormone axis. The fragment retains full receptor-binding activity in published assays.
Chemical properties
Sequence: Tyr-Asn-Trp-Asn-Ser-Phe-Gly-Leu-Arg-Phe-NH2 (10 residues, C-terminal amide). Molecular weight: approx. 1302 g/mol. Form: lyophilised powder. Purity and identity: see the batch Certificate of Analysis (HPLC and mass spectrometry).
Storage and handling
Supplied as a lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder. Store sealed, cold, dry and protected from light, as stated on the Certificate of Analysis and product label. Allow the vial to reach room temperature before opening to limit condensation. Avoid repeated temperature cycling and humidity exposure. For laboratory research use only.
